Peter Obi may face political limitations in Kano State due to the state’s conservative political environment, according to Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Director General of Media and Publicity at Kano Government House.
Bature argued that political acceptance in Kano is often shaped by long-standing ideological and regional considerations, which he said could influence voter sentiment ahead of the 2027 elections.
He noted that the remarks reflect ongoing political analysis within Nigeria’s pre-election discourse.
