Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai arrived at the Federal High Court in Kaduna today for his bail hearing amid tight security. The court premises was heavily guarded by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agencies, restricting movement around the complex due to heightened public interest in the case.
El-Rufai, who has been in custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), is facing multiple charges, including allegations of money laundering, possession of public property, and related offences. The court had earlier adjourned the bail hearing to today, April 1, 2026.
