President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the tenure of the acting Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Isah Idris Jere, till May 29, 2023.
The development was contained in a letter of extension by Mr. president, signed by the Chief of Staff to Buhari, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari
There has been uncertainty over the fate of the immigration boss who is due for retirement.
