Iranian missiles have hit Israel’s largest oil refinery in Haifa, causing a fire and brief power outage, but no significant damage has been reported. The refinery, which supplies around 50-60% of Israel’s fuel, was targeted by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in retaliation for Israeli strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure.
The attack comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, with both sides trading strikes on energy facilities. The incident has led to a spike in global oil prices, with Brent crude reaching $118 a barrel.
