Healthcare Professional, Entrepreneur, Chigbo Emerges President Of Rotary Club Of Ojodu

Rotarian Johnpaul Ifenna Chigbo has emerged as the 22nd President of Rotary Club of Ojodu, Rotary International District 9111, for the 2026–2027 Rotary Year themed “Create Lasting Impact”.

Chigbo, a medical laboratory scientist and public administrator, currently serves with the Lagos State Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency, HEFAMAA, as a Franchise Facilities Monitor. He is also Managing Director/CEO of JaySK Medics Limited, a healthcare solutions firm specializing in medical equipment and technology nationwide.

Chigbo holds a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences from University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, and a Master of Public Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Affairs and Diplomacy at ABU.

He began his career at Jos University Teaching Hospital from 2010–2012 before moving to Lagos. He holds certifications in ART testing, COVID-19 molecular/serological testing, and healthcare quality/patient safety.

Within Rotary Club of Ojodu, Chigbo has served as Club Secretary, Youth Service Chair, Polio Campaign Committee Chair, and Chair of Rotary Health Family Day. His work has focused on disease prevention, health promotion, youth development, and community service.

He also chairs the Medical Laboratory Science Alumni Association, UNEC Class of 2009, and Dr. Alutu’s College of Excellence Alumni Association, Class of 2003.

Born in Otolo Nnewi, Anambra State, Chigbo was educated at St. Joseph’s Nursery/Primary School and Dr. Alutu’s College of Excellence, Nnewi.

As he assumes office, members and stakeholders expect his tenure to drive service projects, collaboration, and community impact in line with Rotary’s “Service Above Self” motto.
