Former Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join Turkish giants Beşiktaş, following the end of his spell at Anfield.
According to reports, the Egyptian winger is set to sign a one-year contract with the Super Lig club, with an option to extend for a further year.
Under the proposed terms, Salah would earn a guaranteed annual salary of €10 million. Performance-related bonuses worth up to an additional €2 million could take the deal to a potential €12 million per year.
The agreement is described as verbal at this stage, with both parties said to be working on finalizing the details before an official announcement.
Salah, 33, ended his trophy-laden eight-year stint at Liverpool earlier this summer. Last season he made 41 appearances in all competitions for the Reds, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists.
The Egyptian is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s greatest forwards and currently has an estimated market value of €22 million, according to Transfermarkt.
Beşiktaş are yet to confirm the deal.
